Hi,

How do you find the product key for Visual Studio 2010 when you launch Visual Studio?

Hello, if you purchased it online and downloaded digital copy, then the key should be in an email confirmation of your purchase.  If in DVD format, then the key should be on its jewel case.  This applies to the full fledged version of VS, if you got the express version, it shouldn't ask for a key.

Also check here
C:\program files\microsoft visual studio 10.0\microsoft visual studio [edition]\setup.sdb
Open that file in notepad or another reader and there should be a product key section.
