Hello,

We have recently replaced a Windows 2008 SBS (Exchange 2007) with a new server Windows 2012 (Exchange 2013).

All users are experiencing problems when they attempt to reply to [internal] emails submitted prior to the migration.

Message is:
This e-mail message cannot be delivered to %Email% because the e-mail address is no longer valid.

This is creating major havoc.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

This issue you are experiencing is due to the way Exchange routes email internally and is explained in my article here - http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/A_9650-NDRs-and-the-legacyExchangeDN.html

To resolve the issue, you will need to create new X500 addresses on your mailboxes that match the old legacyExchangeDN values.
