Removing BrowserChoice in the registry

I have a new Dell Optiplex and BrowserChoice always tries to start.  I  see that removing it from the registry is the only way to stop it from working.  Trying to change permissions doesn't work for TrustedInstaller,

Do I just delete it or?

Run Regedit from Start>Run and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\BrowserChoice
create new entry by right click and set New DWORD. Make it named Enable and set value to 0.
