Edge Transport and HUB in another site
I have a doubt:
My scenario is:
1 Edge Transport in Site1 called Edge1
1 CAS/HUB/MBX in Site1 called HUB1
1 CAS/HUB/MBX in Site2 called HUB2
The inbound mail has this sequence:
If the user is in HUB1, Edge1 send directly to HUB1
If the user is in HUB2, Edge1 send to HUB1, than redirect to HUB2
The outbound mail has this sequence:
If the user is in HUB1, HUB1 send directly to Edge1, that send to internet
If the user is in HUB2, HUB2 receive the message, redirect to HUB1, than send to Edge1, that send to internet
My question is:
Is there a way to configure the HUB2 to send external e-mail direct to Edge1 without pass through HUB1 ? Even the HUB2 is in another site ?
I thinking to do a new send conector in HUB2 pointing to de Edge1, but I don´t know if this is the best practice.
