Hello, I am looking to see if anyone has any resources on how to convert a JQuery Mobile application to an app that reads credit card data.  Are there any plugins and tools out there that support this?  I hear that PhoneGap is probably the way to go but I don't know much about how to actually get the card reading done with it either.

If you already have a web application that reads the cc data, then the only thing you need to do is to wrap this web application with PhoneGap and (in theory) it should work. If it does not then you will have to resort to the traditional solution (write an android application for this).

You can find a very basic tutorial for using PhoneGap here.
