Quick way of inputting Contact via microSD or WiFi ; keyboard/mouse for Note 2

Q1:
Is there a quick way that I can key in all my contacts (persons names,
office/home tel, email, address) in a text or Excel format & then pass
this file via microSD or Wifi to my Note 2 to be updated into its Contacts?

Q2:
Any freeware tools to do this?

The touchscreen keyboard is too slow for me though I've seen kids who
can type very fast on those iPhone/Galaxy touchscreen keyboards.

I'm a typist on the normal hard keyboard, so can type fast only on
normal keyboards.

Q3:
I've seen 3rd party external keyboards that could be attached to iPad.
Any such keyboards & mouse for Note 2's microUSB?  Pls provide the
links that I could buy from if there is

Hey there

First of all i would like to recommend you to use google backup by synchronizing the data . Now as you mentioned you want to transfer contacts data so you can :
Export the data by going into contacts and then save them in form of csv
Then import the files

There's another simple way , that is to use backup applications such as titanium backup .It backs up almost everything and the data could be imported/exported by sd card.
Well i even found a better external keyboard that could be accesed using bluetooth http://www.ebay.com/bhp/wireless-bluetooth-keyboard-android.

Feel free to revert back for further queries

Thanks very much for the extensive reply.

> use google backup
Issue I face is currently my Contacts are in my Outlook 2003 as
previously I have a Win 6.1 phone & I've not sync'ed it for a
while.  Then the Win 6.1 phone crashed.

To adopt this, I'll need to sync my Outlook 2003 to Google
first, right?  I haven't got any idea on how to do this.

Glad to have Titanium backup (I got a similar one for Win 6.1
for after a while, the backup says not enough storage) & the
external keyboard

Hi sunhux
To sync Outlook contacts to Google , the easiest method is to import the csv file to Google after exporting it from Outlook.Well if you already have titanium backup or other third party software , then the process is much simpler .
Feel free to ask further queries.

Thanks

Hey sunhux
To Export contacts to csv file format you need to follow these steps:
Open outlook ->File ->Import/Export
Export to a file

Then you need to select comma Separate Values (Dos)or preferred: Comma Separate Values (Windows)
A dialog box pops up mentioning export to a file .There you need to select the personal folder->contacts->click next
Mention the path using browse and enter the file name to saved as and click on next .
Click finish to confirm csv file creation.
To import the exported csv file to google you need to follow these steps:
Sign in to Gmail Account
Choose contacts

Click on the More button->Import
Choose the file and then select Import Button
Now you got you contacts synced to gmail .You can always refer to google support link for better understanding https://support.google.com/mail/answer/14024?hl=en.

Feel free to revert back for further queries.

Thanks
