Is there a way to ADD a peg to the google generated map?  Client is would like me to add a peg and to id that business using a specific business name, not the name that google selected.  For example, he is a lawyer and meets his clients at the XYZ County Courthouse.  THat is what he wants the peg to say. Googlemaps calls the peg County Clerk.

I think you should be able to do this via the description on the local google plus page. See https://support.google.com/plus/answer/1713911

Note the part that says "Note: For your edits to appear on Google Maps, you must verify your business."
