Experts,

I had a merge stop because I ran out of space.

My VM's have gone into Paused - Critical state.

My question is,

is the merger now canceled? or will it continue once i free up space.

I also do not know how to free up space, there is no space to free up on the drive that holds my VHD's.

Any suggestions?

You will need to free up storage space on the disk, to allow the merge.

To understand Hyper-V Snapshots further consult this article

It's possible corruption may have occured, but your first action is to free up space on the disk, before you can continue and try again.

Some space will be freed-up if you tuen off VMs, but probably not enough,.
