Hi experts,

I was wondering, is there a way to combine users and content in one search box? currently Drupal divides search between users and content, I would like to have like an all option to be able to search users and content in one search box.

I was using search combine module and it does not work… I mean, if I type Joseph in the search box it does not find anything.

thanks in advance,

Winter

You may be interested by using the extend search version

Here is a solution, not exactly what you are looking for but you may like it.

List a user's content on a user page tab
https://drupal.org/node/1578626

So when searching by user you will see the related content.

Hi lenamtl,

Unfortunately, it not what I am looking for, even using search extend is separating both drupal searches, I mean, users and content. Even views separates both searches :(
