Part of a 365 migration, post clean-up.....

We recently moved users to 365. We took their existing PST archives and re-imported them to their live mail account. For some users (the unorganized ones), this flooded their inbox with tens of thousands of old messages.  They want these messages moved into a subfolder

I am looking to move messages older than 6 months to a subfolder. The existing rules dont seem to have this capability

..any ideas how to acheive this?

Just press the "Advanced" button when creating a new rule and look for the "received in a specific date span" option.

Or you can create a search folder and use some more criteria, such as date received/sent/modified/etc, and then move the messages.
