Proxim AP-700 admin password

I am trying to find a way to figure out the admin password of some Proxim AP-700s.  I have a client that has approximately 50 AP-700s mounted throughout his facility.  The majority of the APs are mounted in ceilings, etc., and are not easily accessible.  The person who set up the APs is no longer around.  Nobody knows the admin password.  I would like to avoid having to take every AP down and do a soft reset to change the password.  I have tried connecting using telnet and it looks like that password is the same as the web gui password (nobody knows it).  

Does anybody know of a way I can spoof the password or log in to the access points without having to take them down and reset them.  I have contacted Proxim and their only suggestion is a soft reset.

Default admin username:       n/a
Default admin password:       public

try them if it didn't work iam afraid you will have to do password reset!
