options for location and catalog management

Hi,

I'm a casual web developer that has been asked to assist a friend with a site.

This site has the need to display items from a catalog, where you show a picture and description.  No ordering will be done through the site, instead, we want to direct customers to dealers.

I need to be able to have the user maintain the catalog, as well as the dealer location guide, ideally including map/direction information.

Can anyone let me know what options are available to add this functionality?

Thanks!

CMS like joomla/Drupal/magento for the catalog, Google Maps for mapping/directions.
Totally free if you host yourself, or get it hosted for a small price.
