I have an exchange account and need to archive my account.  If I archive up to a month ago, is it easy to search for old emails in outlook 2013?  For example, if I need to find John Doe's emails from 3 months ago, would I just type in his name and then click older emails below?

Yes it is easy to search for archived emails, just search as normal and Outlook 2010+ will check both your main and archive locations.

Use search across all messages    In Outlook 2010 or OWA you can use search to find a message regardless of whether it is in your Exchange mailbox or the Personal Archive.
