Hi,

I have a soap response shown below:

<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
      <s:Body>
            <s:Fault>
                  <faultcode>s:Server</faultcode>
                  <faultstring>Error Error Error</faultstring>
                  <detail>
                        <ProcessingFault xmlns="http:/abcd.com/Invoice/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
                              <Code>1101</Code>
                              <Message>Error Error Error</Message>
                        </ProcessingFault>
                  </detail>
            </s:Fault>
      </s:Body>
</s:Envelope>

I need a xpath to get the value of the tag named <Message>. How can I achieve that?

Thanks & Regards
Pradeep

//*[local-name() = 'Message']

or tell us what technology you are using.
There is a default namespace, so you would need a namespace manager one way or another if you don't want to deal with local names
