Hi all, I'm having some issues with WSUS reporting into the console. I have ran a script to rest the registry entries and such. One thing i have noticed is multiple old IP entries against DNS names. example i may have 4 192.168.1.7 . How much is WSUS reliant on DNS functioning correctly.

Thanks

All network communications are dependent on DNS.  You need to set up scavenging on your DNS zone to eliminate old IP addresses.
