Copying contacts from SQL to Outlook contacts

I don't think there is but is there a way to copy Contacts in a SQL 2008 R2 database to a Manager's Outlook 2010 Contacts "automatically"?

I tried explaining that we have always done it manually but he wants a real-time/automatic way to update without any human intervention. We are talking over 8000 contacts.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

you can always run your contact query in SSMS export that out to a CSV file and then import
it into Outlook :)

here are the instructions for that
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/import-contacts-from-an-excel-spreadsheet-HA102919779.aspx

now if you were looking for an automatic procedure to do that
you could always schedule the query/export  as a SQL job and create a custom application to open outlook and import the contacts at night  but that will take a lot more work
