The problem is we do not know what wireless card was shipped in that model of computer so you may have to download a number of drivers, and try to install them by trial and error, unless you know what model of wireless card you have in your computer.  Dell ship at least a half a dozen different wireless cards with that model of laptop. If you provide us with the service tag off of the laptop we may be able to narrow it down to fewer wireless cards. Or you can run some of the hardware device detectors to find out what hardware components are installed on this computer.  There is a free application called Speccy that is free this software can detect which drivers are needed and which drivers are out of date. you can download this app here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy
a couple of ways to identify the driver :
A- use the dell ID tag     http://www.dell.com/support/my-support/us/en/19?c=us&l=en&s=dhs
------
B- if you have  unknown devices in device manager, you can use this procedure to identify them :

1- visit the motherboard manufacturers support site, for downloading drivers
2- use windows update >optional updates to find them

3- Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information.
Now select  "Components" and highlight "Problem Devices".
All hardware devices with a driver problem will be listed here.
Make a note of the first line of the PNP Device ID line of the entry. It will show a Vendor number and a Device number (VENxxxxDEVxxxx) both four digits long.
Look up those numbers here:   http://www.pcidatabase.com/index.php

This will tell you the manufacturer and the chip number.
Check the manufacturer's website first or google them - or post them here

4- If your LAN is running, you can also use windows update> optional drivers, or  use slimdrivers : https://www.slimwareutilities.com/slimdrivers.php
you can download dell system detector
What is Dell System Detect and how does it work?

Dell System Detect is an application which scans your computer to detect your service tag. This enables automatic detection of updates related to Drivers and Downloads or other recommended software.

This is free 100% (like Slim Drivers that mentioned above by nobus) and good for you http://www.driveridentifier.com/welcome.php
