Exchange 2010 Even 203 and 233 database recovery issue.

Having an issue with Exchange.

i had a hard drive file the other day I've replaced it and rebuilt the array. but exchangeSoreDB is still logging Event ID 203 and 233.

Event 203 states
on this server appears to have an I/O error that it may be able to repair.

this is my only copy of my mail store database.

I would like to create a new database and move mail to that database. I only have one server is this possible?

I think you are referring to a dial tone database. This lets you set up a new blank database if your current database is down. Users can still send and receive mail to this database in the interim, but their mailboxes are empty. When you are able to recover the original database you can reimport messages into the users mailboxes.

Process explained here.

I had found a post on tech-net that described my issue.
