Put Imported Contacts into Contacts

I am able to export Contacts from an Office 2010 Outlook email account.

When I go to import these contacts into another profile on the same Windows 7 Computer, it puts them in a subfolder.

Is there a way to put all of the contacts from another account and/or this same account into the top folder 'Contacts'?

Fixed by Exporting other user’s contacts to a simple Excel spreadsheet (using the export option in Outlook) and then import them into the office email from that spreadsheet.

you export the contacts as PST or CSV?
it would be easier to export them as CSV, since PST will create a subfolder

I have tried both of these methods but instead of putting them in 'Contacts', it is still putting them in 'Suggested Contacts', which is a subfolder.

ok ... then add the contacts (PST) and it will create a sub folder (new data file). go the contacts in the sub folder, highlight them (CTRL+A) and drag them to the contacts profile desired. after the delete the imported sub folder (from the accounts windows)
