Outlook/Exchange Issue Invisible Mail

This morning, quite out of the below the mail in one of our public folders disappeared for all users. The properties for the folder shows 7MB data which is about right for the box. There are no obvious errors on the server on the exchange server. I have checked that there isn't a view or filter being applied. No other public or user folders have been affected.

We have restored the Mail data to a time of an hour preceding the event and nothing changes.

HELP!!

Click on "View Settings" from the main "Manu" and see if there is any notation against "Filter".

The default filter settingis usually only mail received in the last 7 days in any folder unless you clear it. I know it s unlikely that you have had no mail for the past 7 days, though.

Also check your system date (in case it was changed by accident).

I am using Outlook 2010 so the menu option may be different for other versions.

Thanks for the suggestions. None of these are the solution unfortunately.
