I have a csv file with users sam accounts I like to take this file and run it thru powershell to assign each sam account the drive letter of H: for home drive, and map their home drive path to be \\servername\home \samacount

Finally I like to search individual OU's for users that don't have a home drive mapping and map it so that all I have to do is add the ou to the script and the script goes thru and adds the users home drive and map it in ADUC

if you can see all the users you can click each one holding control and then select properties once you have done this

This will then edit the properties of all the objects you selected.

pretty easy way to do it I say.

I cant help on the second part of your request except to say that if you change the sort fields up the top of AD you can select profile path as an option then you can easily manually look through and edit those in the same manner..?

probably just as fast as the script.

I need to be able to automate the process instead of manually doing it .

It might be harder to automate this task than to do it manually.

If you arrange by home path then it will take you 35 seconds per ou..

Much less than a script.
