Install .bundle on OSX 10.6

I am try to use sudo sh Filename.bundle to install vmware player on a mac.
I am getting this message when I run that command.

stat: illegal option -- -
usage: stat [-FlLnqrsx] [-f Format] [-t timefmt] [file...]

What am I missing with this command? Or is there a better way to install a .bundle package?

This sounds like a package for Ubuntu or Linux.  OS X runs BSD Unix under the hood so even though it's similar to Linux, it's not linux.  I recommend downloading the package for macs.

Vmware product for Mac is Vmware Fusion not Workstation which is for Windows / Linux I believe.

Ahh ok. I'm not sure VMware Fusion is what I'm looking for though.
I'm looking for something that runs on a mac that's similar to the vSphere Client for windows.
This is so I can give some mac users access to a couple virtual machines.

I set up the vSphere web client thinking I could access that from a mac but Mac OS is also not supported to launch the console from there either. Guess I'll have to find some other work around.
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.

That's unfortunate. I see people have been asking for this for quite a few years so it's a little surprising they haven't done anything like this.
Thanks for your time.
