Microsoft Office 2013 - Fresh install -- Can't find "Open Recent File" to add to QAT
Ok I know this is possible because I have a computer which had Office 2010 and I had the "Open Recent File" Quick access toolbar item. When I upgraded to Office 2013 the icon stayed in my QAT. However, when I installed Office 2013 fresh on my new computer it no longer has the "Open recent file" option.
Heck it used to be part of the 12 most popular commands which you could select in the drop-down tab. Now it is not there are all????
Somebody please tell me they have found a way around this.
Thank You!
I am not going to uninstall office 2013, install office 2010 ... get my button and then install office 2013. DUMB! There is either a better way or I am not going to have the button.

You get one behavior or the other with the new office. There is no way to have both with a fresh install.
It is not there and I do not think it is available for a fresh install of Office 2013.
