Windows 8.1 restart the print spooler

We have a laptop running windows 8.1 and every morning we have restart the print spooler service to be able to print anything.  The service is still running but we have to restart it.  I have tried deleting all printers and drivers and resinstalling but the issue still occurs.  Once it is restarted, prining is fine the rest of the day until the following day.

This normally happens when you do not have correct set of drivers according to your OS.

I would suggest to download fresh set of drivers from Internet for your OS Type i.e. Windows 8.1 ..and be specific whether it is x64 or x86 version.

If new drivers don't work, you could deploy a workaround and deploy a scheduled task that restarts the service after system start delayed by one minute.

Downloading the drivers off the website didn't work.  I'm going to try a different anti-virus next.
