Blog reviews SEO value

Hi, We are asked often to send out products to bloggers who review products for their blogs, and then have a giveaway. We don't do it often, and perhaps we get a few people buying products from their blog viewers. But many of the people who win the giveaways are people who go after winning things as a semi-profession, not the people actually interested in their blogs.

My question is, is there much SEO value in having reviews written by bloggers who receive products weekly to review? Thanks, I know I'll get smart and knowledgeable answers here.

The people that "win" may not be your target.  This is no different than businesses that use groupon only to find out most of the people only came for the deal.

However, if the blog is reputable, and where your target clients hang out, it is worth it.  There are blogs that may just cater to giveaways and paid reviews.  Those would be blogs to stay away from.  The more "editorial integrity" you can find in a blogger the better.
