WordPress - how to increase Maximum upload file size?
Hi Experts,
I have just created a new WordPress site (hosted on Dreamhost.com).
The current Maximum upload file size is 7 MB.
How can I increase this to 640 MB?
Regards,
Leigh

The above probably won't work on Dreamhost if you are on a shared hosting plan. Dreamhost (and most large ISPs) doesn't allow you to override their PHP.ini settings which is what controls the max upload size.
Are you trying to extend the backend upload or does this solution need to be available on the frontend?

Hi Jason,

Any way that will let me upload a very large MP4 file.
I would like the limit to be 640 MB, but if that is not possible on Dreamhost, I can compress the file.
