@pkwan, once the value have been turned into numbers, no formatting will turn them into text. Text is a data type. A number is a data type. You cannot change a data type by formatting.

Hi Guys, it wont preserve the number when i save it as a CSV ?
CERTIFIED EXPERT

Commented:
The format is preserved in the csv file (open it in notepad and see for yourself). When opening in Excel it uses the default format (General) unless you explicitly give it a different format (number).

As long as the file is not being open by Excel you're good to go.
