Managing Office 365 user passwords through Exchange 2010 EMS

When we configured our Office 365 organisation a little while ago we set all out users to have the same password expiration, it seems any new users don't adopt that and instead seem to be stuck on the default.
I can't remember what I did to accomplish it in the first place and wondered if anyone had an easy to follow procedure since most of what I can find doesn't seem to apply or work (probably my fault)

Cheers

I accepted my own comment as a solution as that is what worked fully for me to accomplish what I wanted to do.
