How do I load active x with expired certificate

I have security camera equipment that requires internet explorer and active x to view cameras.  However, windows is now blocking the active x because it can not verify the certificate.  This problem is happening more often since the end of life of windows XP. Some older systems with XP and IE 6 can still view the cameras. So I am wondering os their away around this as the url is internal behind the firewall and poses no risk to the viewer.

If you are allowed, and it is on your intranet, you can go to IE->Internet Options->Security Tab, choose Local Internet, click the Custom Level button and make changes to how unsigned activex controls behave,

Excellent! I forgot about adding the IP to the sites list. That seemed to fix that issue.

Thank you
