P2V - Want to export VM (.vmx) on to Esxi server in remote location...without using Vmware Vcenter Standalone Converter?
heya,
I've just done a P2V, thanks to Andy's article and it worked a charm. I converted it into a Vmware Workstation VM on a hard disk. However, now I'd like to export that onto my Vcenter Esxi host. Which I know how to do if I use the Vmware Vcenter Standalone Converter.
Is there a way of importing this .Vmx file without using the Vmware Vcenter Standalone Converter? Is there a way of logging onto Vsphere Vcenter and import the .Vmx file into there? Or no?
Thanks
Yashy
