How to create a 'spread sheet' looking table where user can update info directly (Classic ASP)

I am using Dreamweaver (ASP/VB) , the page right now displays a repeated region with results from a query. I created the recordset using DW.

The problem is that the results are only displayed. My client wants to be able to display and update the fields right on the results table.  Can I use AJAX to do this ?  any Dreamweaver extension ?

Any pointers are welcome.

amucinobluedot, I understand it appears to be easier because the spry thing is built into DW as a plug in.  However, that spry stuff has created issues and is outdated.   Adobe has let it go http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2012/08/update-on-adobe-spry-framework-availability.html#.U3zJtlhdW_0.  The javascript arena has been advancing and changing very fast.

I hope it does work out for you though!

DW has also let go of ASP and it works just fine
