Help using WinEdt

I want to Find and Replace a string in all files within a folder and subfolders.   How can I do this either using WinEdit or any other tool?

Assuming it's standard regular expressions, you’d search for \s*\\theword\\theword\newword, where '\s*' is the code for any amount of whitespace, '\\' is the code for '\', '
