outlook and word

Hi: We have outlook and word 2007, plus  we use the excellent sperry software to automatically print incoming mails. We get a lot of emails to print per day - c 500. The problem is that over a period of time the number of winword processes builds until the whole thing collapses, outlook locks, and nothing prints. We have to kill the 10 or so winword processes just to get moving. The question is - what is persuading outlook to use word? We can find no settings in outlook or word that suggest word should be used to print. If we had outlook without word, surely notepad would do? We can find no fault with sperry software, all we need to do (we think) is stop word printing incoming emails.
Anybody know how to do this? We don't want to uninstall word just yet, though!

Thanks guys - I have referred this back to Sperry. Will conclude based on their response if that OK

Thanks - I have referred this back to the authors. I think you are right - it is Sperry that is loading Word; but am awaiting a response from them. In the meantime I have written a rule which kills the process after printing.
