None of the procedures described below work - Snap Do is *not* removed! - tried on 2 Windows 7 Pro PCs.

I could use more ideas!

I agree with MRoe, especially if run in safe mode.
Another good program for this type malware is a new one called ADW Cleaner
They have a new version out that I have had great success with also and it is free for home use

Paid version of malwarebytes did the job.
