User browser Javascript setting

Would user browser Javascript setting cause issues with jSON/ jQuery applications ? In case user browser have javascript disabled ?

Yes.  jQuery is javascript so if javascript is disabled, it will not run.

So why lots of web apps use jQuery and jSON ?
