How to solve the exception issue when login Citrix Server by using program neighborhood via VPN connection

Hi Experts,

Recently we experienced a weird issue during our user login Citrix Server, by using program neighborhood remotely via VPN connection. The issue is system will prompt a debug window, as the below picture, after input the user name and password. However, login the same server directly from local, NO VPN I mean, was no problem.

Prompt Window
Regarding to the debug window, if we ignored the debug and close the window, the system will halt the rest of loading session. And remote desktop will not be loaded completely. From user side, they only can see the blue screen without any icons on it. And user cannot take any operation on the window at this time, except closing the current window. From running further debug, we got the debug output as the attached below. The issue seems caused by Stack overflow in explorer.

Our Citrix Server is Presentation Server 4.5 and our Citrix Client Software is Program Neighborhood 10.0

Did anyone of you experience this issue before? Please advise, and help us to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

some additional questions:
- how many users/devices are affected?
- if you bring a problem-device to the lan , the error don't occur?
- do you use S2S or RAS VPN?
- should the user use the published desktop or published apps?
- the error ocrurs after the user input username and password or after clicking the app-icon?
- is the error windows from the server or the local client?

Hi Expert,

Thanks for the reply.
My answer to the questions is as below:
- how many users/devices are affected? I didn’t know the exact number of the users/devices affected as we are located in the remote office. All the users in our site were affected. We also have tested on one computer located on our Azure datacenter, and experienced the same problem.
- if you bring a problem-device to the lan , the error don't occur? We didn’t have this test as we are at remote site, and it is a long distance to the server datacenter.
- do you use S2S or RAS VPN? We use S2S VPN to connect Citrix Server and did the test on Azure by using SonicWall VPN.
 - should the user use the published desktop or published apps? All users use the published desktop
 - the error ocrurs after the user input username and password or after clicking the app-icon? We met the error after the user input username and password. We have no change to run any app on the remote desktop since the error.
- is the error windows from the server or the local client? The error is happened on the server as we connect to the server by Citrix Remote desktop.

Thanks a lot.

The issue was not solved till now. Considering the system was expired for technical support and we'll upgrade a new version later. We give up to solve the issue on the aged system.
