Reinstalling Mavericks without iTunes password
Have a users Imac thats been running very slow since upgrading to Mavericks. Trying to reinstall Mavericks over the top so as to not loose any settings.
(Using the built-in recovery disk to reinstall OS X while keeping your files and user settings intact.)
It starts but then wants to log in to itunes to verify the account - this would involve be requesting the users itunes password.
is there any of doing this without having the users password ?
thank you
