MS Project Professional 2010
I have MS Project Professional 2010.
I have created one file with the resource pool.
Then I create a number of files with activities. These files are connected to the resource pool file.
It works fine and I can see the resource use from all projects in the resource pool file.
But, I cannot find out how to create a report with the resource use for one project. I cannot find out how to filter on one project. It is possible to filter in the resource use schedule, but that does not make any difference when I create a report.
I try to make the report via Project / Reports / Work / Resource use.
Behind the Edit button I find a lot of filters, but not for a project.
Can anyone help me?

Have you tried to create the report from a project or from the resource pool file?

Hello,
Thank you for answers.
I tried regmigrant's solution, but I did not have any luck with it. Maybe I missunderstod something.
I had better luck with thausla's solution. I can create a report where I can see activities grouped for each project.
But I cannot filter on one project.
I think this is very strange, because I guess this must be a very common question?
As an answer to Bembi: Yes, I have tried both from the project file and the resource file.
I will mark thausla's answer as solution. I guess that is as far as I can come.
If someone find a better solution, please contribute before this thread closes.

Maybe grade B is not fair, if the program cannot do what I want. In that case the answer is an A. (And the C is for Microsoft ;-)
in your Master project go to 'insert, project' and out each of the sub-projects into the Master. They will appear as sub-projects (with an indicator to show they are linked to a file). Changes made in the master will be reflected in the sub project files and vice versa and you can make individual tasks - or the summary task - dependent on lower level tasks in each sub project.
Reporting will now work across all the projects as if they were all one file.
The Help files have information on the various interactions and options.
