Add a .pdf to an existing Crystal Report that is a picture dynamically

I have a {StockCode} as a field in my report, I have {StockCode}.pdf in a folder within my network...

Is it possible to include this {StockCode}.pdf and insert into the Crystal Report so that it changes as the report changes??

As far as I remember this will work for images but for PDF files you need to know the value during the report load (before any query to run) . If this is correct you will be able to use just hard-coded values. You can export the PDFs to images and try this approach or you can look for a software, which will be able to join your report with the existing PDF file. I guess there are multiple tools that can do this and I guess the other experts will add some names. I know that R-Tag (www.r-tag.com)  is able to join a report with existing PDF file(s) by exporting the report to a PDF and joining it with the other PDFs. It is free ( if you don't need tech support), so if a 3rd party tool is an option you can try it.

Can you give me an example of a formula??  The problem is how do i reference this location based on the field
Mike McCracken

The formula just returns the filepath to the picture.

In your case it is just the field with the filepath
