Windows server 2008 with Multiple Nic's. The second nic wont connect to subnet Unidentified network

I have a windows server 2008 with 2 NIC's connected to 2 different subnets
One is attached to one subnet fine and has good connectivity  (the top 1011 NIC)
The second Nic (104) says unidentified network, and I cannot ping the gateway on the 10.4 network

This server was on the 10.11 network.  and connected fine
Added a connection to the 10.4 network.
Removed the previous route to 10.4.0.0
reset network card

Still cannot ping or access server via the 104 network
Says "unidentified network"

What does the cmd "route print" give?
We need to look at the routing table to see if there are any persistent routes that may be catching the 10.4 traffic before the 104 NIC gets it.

You still have a route sending 10.4 stuff to the same interface as 10.11

10.4.0.0      255.255.0.0         On-link         10.4.6.51    266
        10.4.6.51  255.255.255.255         On-link         10.4.6.51    266
     10.4.255.255  255.255.255.255         On-link         10.4.6.51    266

Try deleting the above three routes with
ROUTE DELETE 10.4.0.0
ROUTE DELETE 10.4.6.51
ROUTE DELETE 10.4.255.255

Your Persistent Routes output, is that complete?
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.
