Unsubscribe from Drupal.org threads/posts notifications

Dear Expert,

When I try to recover my password - in order to manage my subscriptions - with the same email to which the Drupal.org thread notifications are sent to, Drupal site indicates that such email does not exist in Drupal system.

Could it be that after several years of inactivity with that user, that Drupal has eliminated such user account from its database?

How can I stop these notifications from coming?

No response from that email address.
Since Drupal is all run by volunteers, it might take a while to hear back from them. I imagine there is an expiration on inactive users, but I am not sure about that.
