How to keep other users from changing the Powerpoint Font
Hello,
I have used the slide master to set the default font type on a Powerpoint 2013 presentation. However, I would like to force other collaborators/users to use the font type that I have set as default when editing or adding to the existing presentation. Is there a way of forcing other collaborators/users to always use the font type I have set with the slide master?
Thanks,

Please note that you cannot embed fonts in PowerPoint templates (POTX files) or Office themes (THMX).
Well, technically you can embed a font into a POTX file, but that font won't be available in presentations created from that template.
However, if you're distributing a PPTX file to your users, then you could embed the font.
Julie Terberg and I wrote a lot about font availability and PowerPoint templates in our book, Building PowerPoint Templates: Step by Step with the Experts. If your questions are related to a template build for corporate rollout, it might be worth a read.

Ahhh, editing the XML didn't even occur to me in this case. Good info!

Thanks everyone for the concise answers. The presentation was pre-existing so we are going to leave it at that. However, answer by JSRWilson will come in handy with any new presentation we may have.
Embed the font if it is not included with the Office suite
Include a slide but set as No Show with direction about the font and other design matters. Tell there that the font is a vital part of the companies brand image.
