CR 2008 Crosstab - Scale Values

I am using Crystal Reports 2008. I've created a crosstab using Cross-Tab Expert.

The crosstab works fine except I would like to divide the row and column values by 12. I know I can do it using Calculated Member, but that adds columns to the report and I haven't figured out how to hide the original columns - too many columns with irrelevant data is confusing to the user.

Is there a way I can divide the row and column values by 12 without adding additional columns? The resultant values would be used to summarize the rows and columns.

Unfortunately, I cannot manipulate the source data as I do not have control of it.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious - thank you in advance for your help

Sounds like what I'm looking for.  But...

I'm working with an Access table.  Under normal circumstances, I would create a query in the database with the information I'm looking for and reference the query in CR, but I don't have that luxury with this particular situation.

How do I create a formula that can be used in a crosstab without a pre-defined number of rows and columns.  Probably something I should know, but it's never too late to learn.

Thank you!
Sorry, it was late for me when I posted my reply.

The formula works great.  It's been a while since I've worked with CR and I'm still getting back up to speed.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

The formula approach is indeed the best solution for this particular case.

For more advanced scenarios, you can use the 'Display String' property expression.  This provides a solution for various interesting scenarios.  For example, showing large numbers in K's.
Fast response and accurate - thank you!
