Excel formula to change 7/17/2013 to this format 121210 mmddyy
Hi
I have Windows Excel 2010.
I have a column with dates like this:
07/17/13
07/17/13
07/17/13
07/17/13
and I want to change them to this format
mmddyy
I don't see that in the formatting options.
Can you provide a formula to do that?
Thanks

Thanks all.
I ended up using the custom format. But all suggestions are helpful!
Hope I splitted the points fairly. That is sometimes the hardest part here !

Hi Rowby,
Thank you for the point split.
Don't worry about it here, but for the future FYI, there are also statistics for "Answered" vs. "Assisted" solutions as defined by the thread starter (you). So if you say you used the Custom Format reply as your solution, then you should define that one as the "Accepted" and all other that you deem assisted as "Assisted".
Cheers.
