OTOH
Main opposition (leader) McCain states Gitmo 'only' place to move to, leave there for long term interrogation, where when prior position (POTUS candidate) on matter was repeatedly to close Gitmo immediately. Seems a lot like your comment elsewhere on Blair.
Others (Repub pols' obstructionism) following lead of certain Media (FoxNews), that this is more criminal act (Obama) being suspiciously timed to help Hillary (main POTUS candidate) sell books. So next there will be the oppostion attempting to deny entry at border and they will fail.
Two other next's. This was not only person involved, may not be sole 'mastermind' (if at that level), Libya was crumbling internally (so it came as surprise to me how it came to be - US must have shored up global intelligence substantially) - so one, how about other culprits, I've no good clues. Other reports now expanding time frame of knowing perps habits, including having met reporters (who survived but I know not their story) and that this 'culprit' has claimed to be ready for another attack vs US and has said initial reason to attack embassy was based on the now infamous uprising against the internet video, which, if it pans out, would be more supportive of initial CIA produced sound bites/talking points of Rice (Obama/Hillary), which if it pans out will likely torpedo latest attempts to have Repub congress trial vs Obama. <phew>
Strangely, right before this, Obama was giving Press conference, FoxNews announced boycott if he would not use it to defend malfeasance in Benghazi (he did not), while Clinton (Hillary) was making appearances with media (er, for book, not campaign...) other media asked her about Benghazi, but FoxNews did not (strange twist).
What else next? Dunno about Gitmo (Guantanamo). Otherwise, it would/could help to know more from any prior interviews with purported perp, and outcome, if any, of news for interrogation process, and of the coming future changes against him.
