I have a load of mailboxes on Exchange 2010 Sp2 Standard which are way too big. <br />

By deleting these, will it free up space on Exchange itself? Also, if I wanted to see the drive size increase, then would it mean a defrag is still needed to get rid of the 'whitespace' that the deleted emails take up?<br />
