cloud backup & sync

anyone with experience pls advise me how to setup a cloud environment where I can backup all our office users' files to the cloud. If the user were out of office, they still manage to retrieve their file to do editing at any where.
The file will auto sync back to the office when they on the pc at the office. Sync/backup should be in encrypted format so that administrator can't read the contents.

There are also free options, like Bittorrent Sync (would require good and reliable connection and a computer with all of the data)

You can also use NAS from Synology that has Cloudstation application for all major platforms. You need to research how many users and which DS would be appropriate. They are great and Cloudstation is working really great. Communication is fully encrypted.

If region of your data isn't an issue, you can use Dropbox as mentioned previously or OneDrive Business from Microsoft - recently heavily discounted. (1TB for $2.5/month/user)
you can go for a business solution of sugarsync

Its far superior than most of its competitors
the comparison of the features and services is mentioned here

Any idea what hardware and software are needed to setup something like dropbox....this is due to some data are P&C, we would prefer to have own storage as a server co-location....etc and installed with apps that can assist for syncing the data back to office or allow user to log in at any where to amend their documents.
