Windows 7 Professional laptops not able to connect to network drives after undocking/re-docking

We have about 7 people using laptops with port replicators. Recently when a laptop user comes in to the office and re-docks they cannot access their mapped drives.  If they reboot their laptop while docked the drives become accessible.  This is happening on at least 3 of 7 laptops so I know it is not the laptops or port replicators.  The laptops are Dell Latitudes, various models, some older some only 6 months old.  The only change made to the network was I replaced our SonicWall TZ190 firewall with a SonicWall NSA 240 about a month ago.  The firewall does run DHCP.  All desktop workstations connect without issue when powered up in the morning.  I'm going to reboot the domain controllers and see if that helps.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,
cja

Can you confirm that even though the mapped drives are not accessible, you can, after re-docking, connect to a share by  entering it's path in windows explorer?

ASKER

Updated info.
Users also tell me that during the day they will lose connection to one or two mapped drives and have to reboot to get back in.

Thanks,

cja
open an admin command prompt on one of the problem systems and do an IPCONFIG /RENEW ALL and after successfully renewing the dhcp lease can you access shares?
