Vmware Icons - Help in deciphering two of them

Can someone help explain what the two icons in the picture represent?  And what they are for?

    The first is a folder, in VM and Template view used to group VMs.

    The second icon, is the symbol for a VMware vApp.

    A group of VMs, make up a vApp. e.g. VMware vCenter Operations, which has two VMs, UI and Analysis.
