Move shared outlook calendar to another user

We use Office 365 and am using Outlook 2013 client. I have several calendars that I created and shared with many people that I need to move to someone else's outlook, as the holder of the calendar, not the shared copy. I know I can export/import, but I don't know what happens to sharing. If I remove the calendar, does it automatically remove it from the shared users clients? I can re-share, but I just don't want to have to tell people to manually remove the old and add the new, that will never be successful with so many non-power users in many different cities.

Can i move a calendar to anohter users Outlook and retain the sharing?
If so, great.
If not, do I unshare, then it remove the calendar from others Outlook?

Does this shared calendar have its own account? If so, you just need to add/remove the appropriate sharing permissions and connect/disconnect the users.

If the calendar is actually a second calendar in someone's personal account, you will have to export/import. If you are in that situation, now would be a good time to create resource calendars for the shared ones. Then you just need to move the appointments once more and then you won't have to go through this again.
